The Essex is located at 70 Essex Way, Essex VT, 05452. Owner and friend Julie Lane will be representing Snow Farm with our double gold winning Ice Wine. Snow Farm Vineyard Ice Wine is made with Vidal Grapes. These grapes get left on the vine into December and Freeze a couple times until they are at the right level of Brix to be harvested. Vidal grapes have a tougher outer skin, good acidity and sugar potential. These traits allow for Vidal to freeze well and release the residual sugars in the fruit. This in turn makes some of the best Ice Wine in New England.
