First Wine Down of 2020. First Music at the Vineyard. Carol Ann Jones inside the tasting room this Friday Night. The Wine Bar opens at 5:00 and the music starts at 6:30. It’s a rousing, intimate evening of great live music, wine tasting, and savory dinners, soups, salads, and sweet desserts from local chefs made to order inside the tasting room. Check out our musical guests online at our website snowfarm.com. The music flows throughout our three great rooms. Find casual conversation across the futons in the atrium or at the wooden bistro tables in the Annex. Winter Wine Downs are free and open to the public. Every Friday Night January February and March. Try our Petillant Natural on a Friday Night at a Wine Down. As supplies last, take home a bottle of our Pet Nat for $12. Supplies are limited of this Naturally fermented wine. It’s unfiltered and no sulphites are added. It’s slightly effervescent and has smooth melon to the nose. We made it with two different grapes the Seyval Blanc and Cayuga. The Cayuga is slightly sweeter and will be the perfect addition to New Years Celebrations. These wines are Champlain Islands Specialties. Made by Snow Farm Vineyard Head Winemaker Patrick Barrelet and Cassandra Martin. These wines are young and want to be consumed soon. If they are left for over a year the yeast captured in the bottle will continue to work and the taste will be altered from the peak taste we have right now. These wines are not found in any stores the Pet Nat is only available at the tasting room at 190 West Shore Road. See you on the West Shore.
