This weekend farms and studios open their doors to visitors Saturday and Sunday, July 11 & 12th from 10-4 pm. This open studio tour allows visitors to see where and how artisans work. It offers a glimpse into the creative processes. It also allows visitors to see where their food, fiber and plants come from as well as see different types of animals up close. This tour has become one of the premier summer events in the islands. There are over fifty artists, artisans, and small farms opening their studio doors and swinging back the barnyard gates to showcase the variety, creativity and hospitality of Vermont’s very own archipelago—Grand Isle County.
Snow Farm Winery is hosting 6 artists including; JB Woods, Maurie Harrington, Lynn Cummings, Patti Malone, Joy Choquette and Ailsa Diancia. On Saturday, July 11, Pizza Papillo will be on site making fresh artisan flat-breads from 12 o’clock on. The band Sticks and Stones Band will be playing for your enjoyment from 4-6 pm. This is a free concert no outside alcohol is permitted, please bring your own blankets and chairs for seating on the green. Also on Saturday July 11th Snow Farm is also the start and ending for the Vermont Farm Tours, Bike Tour.
